The main role is to create a visually entertaining magazine and overlooking the process of production:
• setting the magazine’s overall visual style
• ensuring that the art elements of the magazine are delivered on time and within budget.
• establishing design templates – so that the magazine always has a recognizable look
• following the deadlines
• communicating with the printer until the pre-approval stage
• communicating with the advertisers regarding the ad designs
• setting an overall style for the publication and making sure that each issue follows this style redesigning the publication to keep up with trends.
